Introduction to Odor - Overview

This class advances the dog’s scent discrimination skills taught in the basic nose work class.  All dogs are taught to identify the same scent, a natural essential oil.  Additionally, we introduce techniques and tactics for building better dog/handler teamwork.  High food or toy motivation is beneficial for this class.  Some locations with longer sessions include the introduction to odor within the introduction to nose work class.

Prerequisite:  Introduction to Nose Work, or instructor approval.
